Confusing role of a teacher
The confusion is: Should teachers transmit their knowledge
using the authority of their expertise,
or should they simply “accompany”
learners on their journey through learning?
It is more confusing to whether a school be organized as
disciplinary institution where learning implies teaching
or as a resource bank where
learning alone matters?
It is still more confusing when we consider, Is it possible
to learn without being taught?
Must we choose between instruction and learning?
Are teachers and instructions obstacles to free learner?
The answers to every question is on the teacher's theory and practice for 21st Century Education.
